JADSE Network
JADSE
INC “JAD System Engineering” Service Provider—Advanced Consulting Services
Maximize Network Effectiveness
to Meet Strategic Business Goals
The Service Provider—Advanced Consulting Services program provides
preventive, consultative support. With ACS, your organization can build
a personal, long-term relationship with JAD System Engineering and receive
direct access to the company's engineering and technological expertise. A designated
ACS engineer, backed by the industry's most experienced people, will help
you bridge technology and expertise gaps so that you can deliver the operating
results your service provider business depends on.
Facing Down Today's Challenges
With technological development outpacing available resources, SPs that
attempt to integrate emerging technologies or redesign networks themselves
can easily spend three to four times as much time on the project than
companies that have access to specialized expertise and resources. Critical
to the success of a SP is the ability to gain quick market share in any
emerging technology market. The decision to quickly mobilize and rely
on outside expertise can mean the difference between business as usual
and business success.
ACS-Your
Personal Link to Advanced Support and Expertise
The JADSE ACS program complements the JADSE EXP support
programs. EXP support is your first line of defense for
answering questions, providing device-level support, and remedying performance
incidents. Jadse Technical Assistance Center (JTAC) engineers work with
production issues daily and are best suited to quickly resolve these
issues.
The ACS program builds on EXP support, providing
the next layer of JADSE support that includes personalized, preventive,
consultative support for service that anticipate rapid growth, struggle
to close an expertise gap, or require maximum uptime and performance.
With the help of specialized tools such as the Jadse Network Analysis
(JNA), regular site visits, and continuous communication, your ACS engineer
builds in-depth knowledge of your networking environment and business
objectives.
With a clear understanding of your networking needs, your ACS engineer
becomes a highly effective liaison between your organization and the
hundreds of technical experts, dozens of information resources, and years
of networking experience that reside at JADSE corporate headquarters.
As a result, you can be assured that your network projects succeed on
time and within budget; and future projects can be planned with insight
into products and technologies still in engineering.
JADSE Network Analysis
The JNA is a Web-based, early-warning tool that can help your team
constantly assess network health, effectively deliver preventive services,
and expedite problem isolation and resolution. The JNA delivers key
network vital signs, such as critical network error messages, inventory
and configuration change alerts, router reload notifications, device
thresholds and availability, and syslog messages. Your ACS engineer
receives daily reports that summarize changes in the network; exceptions,
errors, error messages, inventory and configuration change alerts, and
router reload notifications.
Network Audits
Network Audits are conducted yearly on your choice of network
devices to identify potential stability issues and provide recommendations
for optimizing network stability. Network Audits assess overall network
stability and allow detailed analysis of areas of immediate concern.

projects, and problems under resolution. This information is continually
updated with current network and topology maps and configurations. By
combining this in-depth view with historical data, your ACS team can
effectively uncover and eliminate root causes of chronic or correlated
problems. At the same time, access to this information enables both ACS
and TAC engineers to effectively manage problems, changes, and emergencies.
Working Together for Networking Success To
begin working together, your ACS designated engineer will schedule an
initial conference call and onsite visit. The initial conference call
is designed to gather information about your network environment, including
network topology maps, network configuration protocols, devices, future
plans, and special requirements. This information helps the ACS manager
assign the proper engineering team and start date to your account.
Your ACS engineer will also conduct an onsite visit to:
· Establish
operations procedures between your staff and the ACS team
- Meet your relevant networking
staff and receive a description of their roles and responsibilities
- Exchange e-mail addresses,
telephone numbers, pager, and mobile numbers with your primary contacts

the ACS procedures document with your primary contacts
- Establish the day and time
of the weekly conference call
When the initial site visit is concluded and the ACS engagement begins,
your ACS engineer will have regular telephone and e-mail contact with
your staff, have access to daily reports from your JNA, conduct a weekly
conference call and periodic reviews, prepare quarterly reports, and
provide 48 hours per month of prescheduled support for change management
